Help Diagnosing Clunking/Clicking

Before you go replacing stuff that might be the problem, why not figure out what is the problem.

The EN500 is very similar to an EX500 which is known to eat cush drives.
I not so humbly suggest you check that before you buy a clutch basket off the internet.

If you still think it's the clutch basket, remove the cover, remove the plates and dress the edges of the fingers on the clutch basket with a file. The clutch may rattle a bit, but if that was the problem, it will cure the problem. (That's not the problem).

I not so humbly suggest reading previous posts. The cush drive has been covered:) And also not humbly wouldn't file inside an engine

Friction plates were worn down and tangs pretty chewed up on the plates closest to the basket. Put new steels frictions and springs
