How do you clean your grill?

I'm very careful to make sure there aren't any bristles left on the grill before putting food on it.

I wonder if this directly relates to $2 Dollarama bbq brushes?

Tinfoil shiny side down for a few minutes on high.

Use a potato. Cut in half. Done.

Any of them
I'm just saying that we have always used those brushes and now it is an issue.
I know that since the dollar stores have been around that has been the only place I buy my brushes.

Just leave it there?

Just a few minutes.Turns the bbq into a self clean model with the radiated heat.

Back in the day many BBQs were skinny wires for the racks, now you have porcelain coated cast iron grates

Which are far better to cook on, and if you get them seasoned properly (which sadly most people don't accomplish) they are easy to keep clean as well as nothing sticks to them.

All our cookware in the kitchen is cast iron as well...love the stuff.

I like the cast iron grates, but there was a time when you had hibachi or something like a webber kettle with a wire grate. I remember my parents first gas BBQ. Unless you were spending $$$ you were getting what we would consider junk now but bbqing wasn't the industry it is now.

Sorry, just popped into my head. For those who weren't Married With Children fans, well...read here.

I spent far too much time putting this response together.

Move along, nothing to see here.
