Flushmount Turn Signal Pass Safety?

I put hotbodies flush mount turn signals on my R3 in the fall. The "running lights" in the signals are no longer connected (don't see a reason for them anyways). The signals are pretty hard to see blinking in daylight (like all flushmounts). Might be selling my bike this spring. Has anyone with flushmounts had an issue with passing safety?
Thanks,

Some places may pass them, some may not.

This sounds like a throw away response but that is as accurate as you can get to your question. I didn't have any issue getting mine safetied but received many warnings that they wouldn't pass from people that had issues.

Don't forget to paint your bike black, wear all black and remove your headlight for the ultimate stealth look. Also increase your life insurance at the same time. Visibility is for pussies.

Why not just return it to stock, sell it that way and give the buyer a box of spare parts ?
If they want to re-install that's not your problem.

If you are worried about them not passing a safety, maybe you should re-think having them in the first place...
