I was just looking at the weather network site.
Above freezing for the next several days, but rain as well.
This should clear the salt from the roads.
Once the rain ends, temperatures around plus 10.
Could it be that the riding season will begin in earnest the middle of next week?
Of course, the forecast is for the City. North of 7 the rain could still be snow at this time of year.

LOL. The real riding season starts about April 15 when the average low hits 5c. That reduces the chance of black ice in most cases.

Freezing rain called for on Sunday here...so yeah, that means a fresh round of rock salt is likely.

Next week looks rainy though so with any luck that'll take care of it...but it's not looking like we're out of the woods quite yet unless we dodge that bullet.

And here I am being optimistic that I can start commuting the beginning of April. C'mon already weather, stop screwing around...I want to ride.
