lessons learned the hard way

Accidentally hitting the rear brake in a corner on first track training day. I was informed, after the fact, that some people adjust their rear brake pedal further down than normal because you almost never use it. I adjusted it the next training day I took, went too far and scraped up the rear brake pedal. I was surprised it didn't brake and lowside me again. :lmao:
 
First morning of the first track day first time riding a modern sport bike left a 10 foot black smear from the front tire. That was 1988. I'm given to understand brakes are even better today.
