7" Headlight conversion to LED

Hey GTAM,

I'm trying to swap my stock halogen 7" headlight on my SV650 (naked model) over to an LED housing with a cool halo ring: See Here.

Plug and play with the H4 works beautifully, however, my stock mounting bracket will not support the new light at all. They do sell mounting brackets on amazon, but they seem to only be for Harleys and Jeeps.

Has anyone done a conversion similar to this? Just looking for a bit of guidance and your two cents on whether your think that mounting bracket will work or not...

You are going to have to fabricate your own.

Note the aim adjustment screws built into that H-D mounting bracket.

If it fits inside the current headlight ring you may be able to pin it in place. No adjustments so get it right first try. I'm interested to see what you do. My 04 sv650N would look good with that light.
