Calling for a quote

I'll call in later today to see if I can get a ballpark on insurance before I buy the bike.

What info do they need? Any/all of the following?
- name
- current car insurance
- drivers licence
- bike year, model, and cost
- additional riders

I don't think they need your car insurance information.

I think it's just name, address, drivers license, past claims/tickets (which I think they can pull with your drivers license anyway), and details about the bike. And of course details about additional riders (and/or any other licensed individuals in the household) if applicable.

Name, home address, marital status, date of birth.

When did you first get your M1, M2 and full M license.

Have you completed any motorcycle training courses in the past 3 years?

How many years of continuous motorcycle insurance?

Year/make/model of motorcycle.

When did you purchase it?

Purchase price?

Any accidents or claims in the past 9 years?

Any convictions (tickets) in the past 3 years?

Any additional riders?
