That should be revised to "Automatic Or CVT". Manual transmission has faded into legend for the general public. Sure the gear-heads and stale-crusts know the joy, but 3% of the market is a lonely island.
Not quite yet. You can still buy a few models in manual. When I brought my Outlander in for a recall the service desk didn't believe I had a manual one. They're not even that rare. There's like 3 or 4 of them for sale on Kijiji right now in Toronto. I think they were only ever sold by the dealers in Quebec, though.
