I have carbs and I NEVER winterize my bike. Never had issues.
The best part is that you can ride it any day during the winter season when we get 'off weathers' like the rain washes off the salt. I ride my bike as long as there's no snow/below or significant salt on the ground.
Sure but it sits for 3 months at best in my case.
Carbs are much more sensititve than FI, jets are easily plugged. Cleaning them is no fun.
I'm not saying don't put stabilizer in but it hasn't been necessary in any of the FI bikes I've had.
Seriously though, I don't disagree. $10-15 is not much for a peace of mind.
However, I think in my situation, the vehicles don't sit long enough for gas to turn into varnish.
