I have a Ohlins shock on my 2000 ZX-6R track bike. Last year at a Racer5 track day they setup the suspension beyond my 'set best I could at home with help from 12 year old son' setup. They commented I should go up a spring size front and rear. Well the bike handled OK rest of season and I didn't have the springs so didn't make the change but now looking for springs.
I have a 1092-34/100 on it now (with 14mm preload) and would like a 105 or 110. Anyone have any 01092 series springs they want to trade/sell?
In a bin I do have some other Ohlins springs ... have 105 and 110 but they are 01091 series springs. I believe 01092 are 170mm length and 01091 are only 160mm length. Is the 10mm difference enough to cause any issues or could I run the 01091's? Not sure how much of the spring length is used up with suspension movement, would not want to bind up the spring obviously.
