ive got my own truck but this might be useful for those without.

to be safe, you probably need a ramp, tie-downs and know what you're doing.

... and just like uber, it's all fun and games till there is a third party insurance claim.

you really need to have Uber/ride share specific insurance if you are going to be doing anything like this.
its not a expensive add on if you are with a company that offers it, but some only allow you to do it part time.
