I've bought bikes & cars as is cause I needed to cert on Ontario anyway for my street stuff. Someone please share whether Quebec has a similar process & standard for Bike safety / certification requirement / process. Thanks

I'm not sure what the differences are between the two Provinces.
I was looking at buying a salvage car from Quebec, the owner was very honest and he said it would be impossible for me to reclaim here in Ontario.
 
Been thinking about buying a 2014 Bike from a dealer & thought by buying safetied it may minimize my risk of what I encounter when I Safety it in Ontario, but had no idea what the Quebec process or standard is..

In Quebec you must have an inspection done each time a vehicle changes owners. When I lived there the inspection was done at a government run Provincial Certification Centre, unlike Ontario where any certified garage can do it. If you are planning on licensing the vehicle in Ontario, it must inspected in Ontario by a certified garage, likewise in Quebec.
 
Thanks. I decided to buy new from a dealer in the GTA. For the $, it was too much hassle.
