not sure if they come in manual, but I always liked the Dodge Aries.

old mustang/Camaro/firebird?
The 5L lx was a rear wheel drive and had a convertible option I think. Those were sweet rides and there's some up on Kijiji and more.
Kijiji lets you filter cars by most of those criteria. I would say forget about RWD. Pretty much all manual/RWD are gonna be sports cars that will be in demand. You might find a BMW or two in that bracket, but that's a huge minefield.

I found the car for you boss. A 1988 Mazda RX7. Meets all your criteria
I'm not sure if relying on an RX7 as your only form of transportation is a good idea.
