Friend looking to replace rocks for a patio fire pit.

Anyone know where? CT, HD and Lowe's only seem to sell brickets and whole fire pits. Just looking for rocks.

If you want big pieces, a landscape place like Beaver Valley Stone. Or look online on Craigslist. Peeps use em in aquariums.

He replaced the glass beads things with decorative stones. Those things FLY when they get hot, was like a game of chicken with hot pop rocks trying to turn it off. Lol. Of course he is a firefighter.....
 
The Roxul insulation company uses a volcanic rock called Basalt , it comes from north (2 mi) of Havelock. There is about 9 billions tonnes of the ***** all over the place up there. And closer to Peterborough also if you look. Free rocks, volcanic, easy to identify, good road trip.
