A male motorcyclist was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Toronto Thursday evening.
It happened in the Ossington and Geary avenues area at around 7:30 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the crash, which involved a car, were not immediately clear.
The age of the motorcyclist was also not immediately provided.
There was conflicting information regarding whether the car involved fled the scene following the collision.
Police continue to investigate.

A man in his 20s suffered life-threatening injuries after what appears to be a hit-and-run in mid-town.
Police were called to the scene on Ossington Avenue just north of Dupont Street around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Investigators say they are looking for a “vehicle of interest” in connection with the case, initially described as a black SUV. Police say it’s also possible the driver may have witnessed the incident.
The motorcyclist was transported to a trauma centre in serious condition.
UPDATE FROM. CITYNEWS. CA
According to police, it appears a man lost control of his bike and slid into an oncoming car. The car did not make contact with the driver.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
