Thats some great perspective you've added to an article that's a momth old and no longer relevant, thanks! Can't wait for your next contribution.

Umm. Perhaps you failed to notice that this thread isn't dead and has had plenty of recent replies? Or are you just butthurt that the topic has drifted from making fun of the iPhone to making fun of Samsung?

The article that was linked is from September. Annoyingly, when it talks about an 11% panic drop in value, it doesn't list any actual share prices, so whatever it's talking about became meaningless after maybe a week. It's still more valuable than it ever has been at any point more than three months ago

He linked an article that's a month out of date. Without adding commentary.

Such a valuable contribution to the conversation, even you didn't bother to read it.

Oh yeah, but I'm a fanboi. That must explain it.

Samsung stating $2 Billion in profit loss this year???
Stop making the Note 7.

hmmm good time to buy Samsung stocks...wait for the Note 8 that will HAVE to be BIGGLY.

Shame, after using a note 7, anything else is a downgrade. Yep, it's that good.

Hope Sammy gets this sorted out. (I personally think it has to do with the fast charging technology)

I'm no fan of Samsung (and their recent spat of issues from phones to washing machines shows that their quality control is apparently lacking), but this seems stupid.

What kind of "loss" are these people suing for? Are they suing because their feelings were hurt, or because their phone *might* have blown up?

C'mon. They recalled them and offered refunds or alternatives. Yes, there's some question if they did it as fast as they should and via the correct procedures...but they did it.

Of course, they're ultimately just looking for some free money. In the end even if they get anything it'll proabably be $10 or $20 each after the lawyers suck up the bulk of any settlement as is status quo for most of these class action BS suits.
