A friend of mine crashed his 2011 CBR125R and (among other parts) needs both front and rear rims. This generation was only available for a couple of years, and so used parts are rare. The wheels are different from both the previous generation 125, as well as the 250, 300, etc. Does anyone know which wheels would fit if he can't find any 2011 model year specific wheels? Thanks.

None that would cost any less than new OEM wheels. What's the dealer want for new wheels?

Hey Brian, just the person I was hoping to chime in. He said they wanted $800 for the front, and $300 for the rear, but I haven't had a chance to call and see for myself. It wouldn't surprise me, though - even though some parts I have found to be ridiculously cheap, others I have found to be just as expensive as "full-sized" bikes.

With Honda part #s the 3 digit 'centre code' indicates what bike it was first used on.
first 5 digits= what the part is
next 3 digits= model used
next 3 digits= running changes (paint colour, etc.)

Buy a bike not parts. It will be cheaper.
Was thinking the exact same thing. Even at $1500 you come out ahead with buying the bike.
