Durham police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal motorcycle crash in Brock Township. Officers say Friday morning, just after 11:30, a motorcycle was heading northbound on Lakeridge Road when it entered an intersection. An SUV started to cross Lakeridge Road, from behind a stop sign, and collided with the motorcycle. The 40-year-old Toronto man was pronounced dead in hospital and the 72-year-old Toronto woman driving the SUV was treated for minor injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-888-579-5255 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
