SMP August 19th

SMP says it requires drain plugs safety wired.
Mine isn't. Are they strict on this being done?
 
Half the time they don't even bother with tech...
 
not half the time, I've never seen SMP run days tech'd. Tech is for everyone's safety and should Otherwise the day is generally run well, minus some start delays a few times that were unwarranted. Lunch included is a bonus, which has become much better in the last 2 years or so
 
Only time there's tech is on the Friday of a RACE weekend. Even then it's a quick walk around.

I had the same question couple of years ago. Never been to a tech on a smp day since.

I may be going up then on Friday if I can sort out bike transportation tomorrow
 
Anyone have photos or videos of the day? My friend's bike got stolen and now it's like a mourning period :(
