The mfger's do rave about it. But it does not mean you do not have good gloves. Pending the make, depends on the quality. Bigger companies buy more production and get first dibs on the hides.
What is much better then the lightness is the fit is better. Kangaroo gives you a better fit as it is thinner. The weight is not as big a factor. So a Kangaroo glove will fit much better,as with a suit.
