fork seal direction?

the age old question, which way up? I'm embarressed that I am even asking it, but my extensive internet searches have rendered only wishy- washy answers. They both have springs on them, and the ones I pulled out of the forks only had spring on the bottom. I'm assuming the side with the microscopic writing is up. And the side with the bigger spring and more cavernous gap is down. I'm trying to post pics but keeps saying file too big. Anyone know how to change that too? As u can tell I'm completely useless with the computer.

Usually the spring is on top, but yours has one on both sides?
