Didn't watch the whole video, but seems that Bluetooth connectivity would be better, imo

You are 1/2 right Joe.....cable to BT receiver, then wireless to phone etc.
IMO might as well just connect to phone in pocket as now you have receiver and phone in pocket.

The way the tech seems to function the receiver the speakers plug into are the power, the BT signal, and most importantly removable.

that right there makes it almost useless for riding. we need to reduce the amount of volume in our ears. until they can make quieter helmets, it will only add volume. good fitting earbuds don't hurt, and also reduce volume.
