I have one and it is absolutely true, however a quick swap with a 05/06 zx6r shock for 70 bucks, another 100 for fork Springs and a heavier for oil weight and you are set.

Totally worth it.

From what I have read the XSR900 fixes the damping issue, might be a option.

I'm 250 lbs. It's not great, but I set it up just right and I can more then get by with it. Throttle control is so important to tame that suspension and seeing how I'm still running the stock 2014 ecu flash that is say a lot.

Totally IMO of course but yeah it's not top notch suspension by any means.
