LED light question

Here is a question I asked on another forum I never really got a decent answer so, maybe, I can ask here. I like many others are interested in LED front lights so I can be seen. I've narrowed it down to 2 choices they being:

1)custom dynamics dynamic ringz
2) Halo turn by Radiantz

My question here is will the flashing white confuse drivers?

I would be interested n your thoughts!

Absolutely, the second option is a terrible execution. The white light completely nullifies the effectiveness of the amber light.

The first option is better, but I'd be concerned that it's not visible from the side. Presumably there's still a rear flasher that's separate too?

I'd be worried about them blinding someone rather than confusing them. Turn signals can't be aimed, and depending on how powerful the lights are . . .
They always say don't shine those LED flashlights in your eyes, and some of the bicycles have powerful LED's, that aren't aimed.
Also, are flashing white lights legal?

There's a restriction on flashing red, and you are not supposed to have "alternating flashes of white light" - this is meant to be for cop car headlights that turn the left lamp on and the right lamp off, then the left lamp off while the right lamp is on, etc. "Flashing" alone is not "alternating".

I still would prefer the second one to the first. Turning off a (white) DRL while the corresponding (amber) turn signal is common in cars - but they leave the DRL off during the "off" phase of the turn signal. The second one does that.

I think you have them mixed up. It's the first one that leaves the LEDs off while signalling.
