A motorcyclist has been critically injured, following a crash involving a train in Springwater Township.
The crash happened in the area of Snow Valley Road near County Road 53 on Thursday, just after 7 p.m. Officials confirm the collision involved a motorcycle and a Canadian Pacific Railway train.
Ornge Air Ambulance confirms the rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. He has since been airlifted to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto in critical condition.

A spokesperson with CP Rail says none of their crew was injured.
The OPP has closed Snow Valley Road between County Road 53 and Black Creek Trail.
It’s unclear when the road will reopen.
