A Vaughan teenager was hurt badly following a dirt bike crash at Kortright Conservation Centre last night.
York police were called at about 8 p.m. yesterday following reports a 16-year-old boy and a friend were riding on the private driveway of the Kortright Centre when one of the dirt bikes left the roadway and crashed in a ravine.
The injured rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but police said his helmet may have come off during the fall.
The 16 year old remains in hospital in life-threatening condition.
The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to come forward.
