Hi Everyone

Can anyone recommend a good seat for a CB500X? I've been riding with the stock seat for the last two years. I even went half way across Canada on it. The bike did great but the stock seat is not very comfortable.
Any suggestions would be great. ��
 
I'd suggest Sargent but they don't have afaik.

it was a near thing on my Vstrom to keep the Corbin or the Terry Adcox. So I have some experience with that seat style. It is very comfie - the only down side for me was I could not move around easily. Tends to lock you in.

If you buy it from RevZilla I thing you can return - no questions.

Ben's Motorcycles in Lakefield does custom gel inserts for seats. They shave the foam on your stock seat and install a custom fit gel insert. Brings it back to stock height and gives way more comfort I'm told. Also a great way to lower a seat. They can remove an inch of height and keep same amount of padding/comfort vs stock by using gel.
 
That sounds interesting. I will check it out.
I have lots of childhood memories in Lakefield. Haven't been in years.
