A man was taken to hospital after his motorcycle crashed in Thornhill early Sunday.
The driver was riding along John Street near Bayview Avenue when he crashed shortly after 7 a.m.
According to police, he swerved to avoid geese wandering in a live lane of traffic.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, York Regional Police said.
The driver's injuries do not appear to be serious, police said.
 
it was but didn't swerve to avoid geese. one of the rest of gaggle flew from grass and struck windshield. semantics...

it was also the holiday Monday, not Sunday, glad the media doesn't investigate crashes...lol

With the quality of reporting that normally exists, I am surprised they even got the animal and vehicle correct.
