I now ride a 155cc scooter -- Am I now a geek?

Pros: sips gas, insurance is $352 per year, super easy to flick around, 300 lbs wet, very comfortable, tons of storage space, quick off the line, goes a GPS confirmed 122 km/hr WOT, starts under all conditions (even after a 6 month lay-away in the garden shed without anything but a shot of Stabil), nobody will steal it.

Cons: I am shunned, I am no longer cool, I am called a geek. :)

Very nice. The cops will mistake you for an e-bike and ignore you, so anything goes with scoot. Drivers seem to wave you through more often as well. More detailed review demanded! Fender designers as a class need a serious talking to, I think. Almost no bike in the last 20 years has had a decent tail.

I'm lazy and cheap and then the fuzz gets on your case about MOT, DOT regs or whatever. At least stick them straight out so there's another luggage mounting point. Hugger clearance would probably cut into the underseat storage.
