Some BBQ from the long weekend. Seared the ribs with a dry rub then smoked for 6 hours with applewood chips and charcoal. The 6 pound pork shoulder was left in apple juice, applecider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, salt and brown sugar overnight for 12 hours. Seared with a dry rub then smoked on the BBQ for 9 hours with applewood as well. Beer can chicken as well because, well... why not? Was my first time doing pulled pork and it fell apart at 190 degrees internal temperature. Tons of work and beer consumed in the process but totally worth it. Should have got some more pics of the final result but was too hungry!

I made lazy man nachos on the bbq

Ever eat Bass Joe? Good for the:love9:

I spent all day up North riding the Midhurst Trail Ride.

Mrs FLSTC had marinated some chicken thighs in apple cider, worcestershire sauce, and Montreal chicken seasoning. Boneless skinless. Once in a while we get the non-pussified chicken thighs - I think you get more flavour from the bone/marrow. Mrs FLSTC just doesn't like paying for the bone and fat...

A nice Chilean Chardonnay, some home-pickled garlic sprouts, and some Bajan Hot Pepper Sauce. Yum!

Hard enough to follow that meal, even worse that it was purchased. But, easily the best burritos I've ever eaten courtesy of Burrito Burrito.
This is my older boy's fully loaded:

Please tell me that bottle of Bud Light is only to put out the bbq flareups or rinse grass clippings off your shoes.
