Yesterday at the famous Northwest 200 race a young talented Mitchell Thomas died. Only 20years old:(

Malachi Mitchell Thomas, 20, from Chorley in Lancashire, crashed his bike during the Supertwins race. He was riding for the Cookstown BE Racing team.
Mr Thomas was treated by medical staff at the scene but died from his injuries.
The accident happened on the course at Dhu Varren, Portrush.

You are correct Ryan Farquhar was leading the race but somehow lost the front end of his bike and crashed heavily. He's out of intensive care and in "stable condition"

& Billy Redmayne was lost at the Scarborough road races a couple of weeks ago.
The Isle of Man starts in 2 weeks (or less) so lets hope the TT gods look down favorably on all the competitors for this years event & everyone gets home safely.
