Question about Armored Bodies superbike bodywork

Got a used 08 GSXR 750 armored bodies kit. I've read/heard that the superbike tail requires something underneath to support the seat?

Can anyone clarify this please? Thanks!
 
There should be a box or something that goes on top of the battery area so that it supports your weight when you sit on it.
 
There is a(on my R6) fiberglass piece that goes over the battery box/subframe that the superbike tail sits on top of.

On my F4 superbike tail the previous owner had made an aluminum bracket and just fiberglassed in under the seat to hold the weight.

Already ordered off BSR.

Couldn't take photos anyway because my bike/parts is at my parent's place.
