is perhaps the most engaging true story that covers two generations but every race is covered with pro and amateur videos and films as it is by far the most dangerous motorcycle race.

Its not Irish. Don't ever tell a manxman that. The Isle of Man is a beautiful place well worth a visit and has the distinction of having the oldest parliament in the world there, the Tynwold. Also at the summit of Snaefell on a clear day you can see England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales...although every single time I've been there it's been bloody misty. Nice history forged from Celtic and Norse tradition. Also a tax haven with quite a few filthy rich inhabitants and it's also the birthplace of The Beegees. Part of my family is from there and I believe I can circumvent the usual rules for living there that ask for a minimum income of a bajillion dollars because my family name is originally Manx.

If you like that try "One man caravan" It's an Excellant read.

As for movies what about Big Fauss and Little Halsy. I haven't seen it in over 30 years but remember liking it at the time.....

You've heard of "The Wild One" (1953). Well here's a little known classic from the same year..."Code Two" - The adventures of motorcycle cops, from their academy days, to chasing crooked truckers.

Check out this preview... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMos8-lMskA

Notice the absence of helmets!

Cool as Ice is the worst Motorcycle movie ever. lol

No it's not. That distinction goes to a little known low budget flick called Race for Glory.
