Brand New Rider- Insurance

Hello Everyone!

Been browsing this fourm for the past few months and have found great information.

Now its time to pull the trigger on a motorcycle.

Location: Richmond Hill
Age: 26
Sex: Male
GM2 since last November
First motorcycle insurance, however been insured with a car since 16.
One speeding ticket (10KM Over) last January.

I have been quoted $1900 a year with Aviva on a 2015 Yamaha R3.

This is affordable for me, however I'm just wondering if this is a decent rate based on others experience or in similar situation.

That sound about right. Keep the research going ... get at least 2-3 more quotes and then make a decision. Btw, what Aviva offers for $1900?

That's what I'm at. 1600~ for gs500 in Richmond Hill. 26 w/ 1 speeding ticket.
