A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after his vehicle collided with an ambulance on Highway 404 in Aurora Sunday evening.The collision happened in the southbound lanes of the highway near Wellington Street at around 7:10 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police said.
The condition of the rider was not immediately clear.
All southbound lanes of Highway 404 have been closed at Wellington Street because of the collision, OPP say. It is not known how long the closure will last.

Police say a 30-year-old Mississauga man has been identified as the motorcyclist who was struck and killed on Highway 404 last night.
Investigators say shortly after 7 p.m. last night, officers were called to a collision on Highway 404 near Wellington Street in Whitechurch-Stouffville.
The driver of a motorcycle was travelling on the ramp from westbound Wellington Road to Highway 404 when police say he lost control, fell from his motorcycle and slid onto the southbound lanes of highway.
Police say the man, later identified as 30-year-old Kosmo Bakier, was struck by a southbound vehicle

Horribly sad news, isnt kind of ironic that he was run over by an ambulance? What are the chances?

So, so tragic.

Probably slid on left-over winter road debris, as he was coming off the on-ramp. Something you don't normally get in California, where he's from. Watch you speed on those ramp guys!
