Sport Bike Insurance for Under 30s

Hey Folks,

I recently moved back from Alberta where I was riding an R1 for $90/month to a bit of a cluster for sport bike insurance. State Farm looks like they went tits up for bike insurance.

I've seen some posts on here for people getting superbikes for a non-soul crushing rate, but they all seem to be for people over 30. I've got a few years to get there, but would still like to get at least a 600cc.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a company that would provide insurance to someone between 25-30 on a sport bike? Preferably for something under $500/month....

I have a clean record, and a car to attach to the quote if necessary.

Thanks for the help!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there is zero chance on getting under $500 even if you're over 30 for a ss.

Well, Allstate gave me a quote for ~$1300 for the year before they messed up and "remembered" their policy to only give sport bike insurance to people over 30, so I know that's not true. Technically Statefarm wanted the low, low price of $436 a month for an R6, but that's still pretty steep.

Sorry I thought you meant $500/YEAR. Carry on

State farm put me up from 90 a month to 280 on my SS this year. I just decided to buy another bike, problem solved! 93 a month for the 2016 KTM :)

I'm paying $93 a month at 30 yrs old and my gf at 25 is paying $100 a month through dalton timmis. We are both on GSXR 750's. At 24 years old she was only paying 130 a month. only problem was she had to bring her car over as well and the car was a few bucks more a month than her previous policy.

Cornerstone insurance broker. Im 27, 06 honda cbr600rr paying $120 a month. Thats with just a bike with them.

This is what I've received so far:

I'm still waiting to hear back from Paul South and from Dalton Timmis on what my car insurance would be Royal Sun Alliance. I'd also like to know what a 1000cc and an FZ09 would cost, out of curiosity.

Yes, and why exactly are these people moving back? Oh, yeah! Jobs maybe?

C'mon really? What has happened in the 1 year I have not been here in this forum? I was quoted $1600/year for a 2010 R6 and I found it too much and insulting considering that a guy younger than me and with less time with an "M" licence got a quote for $1,200/year for his R6.

It looks like you mean SuperSport Insurance and not Sport Bike, you've only listed one sport bike. That will definitely make a difference.

My state-farm broker notified me that TD is merging with them so my Renewal is going through the roof! So i myself am also shopping around.

Your broker is misinformed or you are mistaken.
But Dejardins buying them (SF) out will have the same effect.
