Waterproof HD Camera's

Here's some footage from yesterday off my SafariHD (SJ4000 clone). It uses the same mounts as the GoPro, this is my chin mount view. The battery lasts approximately 65 minutes of non-stop recording, they are removable and cost about $3 on amazon/ebay. I think the quality looks great!

edit: figured it out :)

Either half the streets in Keswick look alike or you live a block away from an old friend of mine cause I'm having extreme deja vu watching that vid... Not gonna say the street here, but do you live like 2mins away from a shoppers drug mart??

I'm not in the shopper's subdivision, but you are correct about half the streets looking the same lol. I'm closer to the Arena

Don't think it's been mentioned yet but the GoPro Session might be a good option for you. It doesn't require a polycarbonate housing to withstand weather which means you have access to the charging port. Personally, I would probably go with a cheaper chinese product and hack a solution but throwing this out there as an easy option if you're willing to pay for it.

For recording videos or taking pictures I use a Sena Prism. Good camera. I like it because the audio connects to my 20S and I don't need to do anything extra. It's fairly slim and the picture quality is decent. It does what I want out of it. It isn't the best camera on the market, but it is very easy to use and the quality is decent. Battery life is not very long so I will be buying a battery bank for this season to stretch out the cameras use a little more. Very good build quality IMO.

Very pleased with the quality of the packaging. Will review further when I have some more time!

I will do another review once I have time to test the camera out, but so far so good!

Already sold mine, too big and has a very narrow record field. Says 120 degrees but looked more like 90 to me. And yes I checked in the settings.
Actual record quality just using it around the house seams very good and the screen and features are super easy to use.
Gopro should take note.
But size and field of view just don't do it for me.

, what camera are you referring to?
Hey

Inquire about the exact knock off brand and then do some research. Some brands produce better knock off products and have a larger consumer support base.

This is ghost s - not the original though I don't know if the body changed at all. I have never owned an action camera before and my initial thoughts were wow, this thing is smaller than I expected. This might just be my lack of experience. The body is extremely rigid, rubberized and waterproof to 3m without any additional cases, which are huge bonuses for me. Ill test the video out asap but for a refurb product this purchase has so far exceeded my expectations!

@Fr33On2Wh33ls will you be mounting that on your helmet? Would like to see how that looks.

They are the same as my SafariHD cam (sj clone), the video is posted a few replies up. Great quality and a ton of accessories. I'm thinking about buying another one
Cool. Thanks. He's got a bunch. Will go back and look at the video you posted. Maybe I can score a deal on the pink one ?

^^^^^

I was just thinking the same.....LOL
I'd say something like "great minds think alike", but I wouldn't want to insult you, 'cause I'm an idiot. ?

It comes with a curved bracket so I will have the option to put it on the helmet.
Likely I will use the flat bracket and mount it under the front fairing on the bike and tether it just in case.
But I can't decide if I like the top or side profile better. Top appeals to me most because it will have a better view, you can see the signals on, head turns etc. Side view looks sleeker and probably might be cool for supplimentary shots. If I had two curved mounts I could easily switch between the two angles for better production. What do you think?
