Track Days at night in Qatar

Hi everyone

When this year's season drew to a close end October I went to Qatar to spend three track days at Losail International Circuit. We rode two nights and one day with some great instructors such as ex GP rider Simon Crafar and Qatari superbike champion Alex Cudlin. It was crazy hot with 30°C at night and 40 during daytime. The track is fantastically smooth and we went on the track with 2015 BMW S1000RRs - 1hp/kg.

I've put a video on Youtube:

This is about one and a half laps recorded during the second night. I'm the guy in front, the camera is mounted on the tank of Simon Crafar's machine. I certainly didn't break any lap records or anything but it was an unforgettable experience with some amazing people. :)

very cool, looks like a great time!

Nice...it was all night activities? Or just partial of the night?

That's very cool.

Thanks guys!

We rode two nights and one day. The two nights we began at 5 pm and rode until 11 pm. It got dark really quickly so the first session or so was still in the sunset with a nice shade of dark blue but the rest was pretty much all black.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing buddy!
Btw, I saw the trackday prices on the circuit's website, but how did you organize 'bike rental ? ...

Cheers :)

I've taken another look at the material and found some nice stuff that wasn't in the first clip. So here's an extended video showing some riding at dusk, other riders, footage from the pitlane and a very nice thumbs-up by Simon Crafar at the end :)
