Whatever Dude.
At that time I was a partner in a company called RushHD. That channel was carried on TWC, Comcast, Cablevision Cox and Charter. I had monthly meetings with TWC Media, that does all the buying, in Herndon. In-fact they are still in the same building on Sunrise.
If your looking for proof that I was there, I can't give you photographic evidence of me standing infront of the pentagon when it exploded.

To some extend its unfortunate that Superbike and MotoGP have evolved as much as they have. People like Williams and Britton who put their heart and soul into building these "one off exotics" are now relics of a bygone age. Peter especially, as he was the designer, constructor, mechanic, team manager and rider. That would be unheard off today

You really have to take things with a grain of salt
I also find smaller independent sites are simply full of opinion, conspiracy theories and sometimes outright lies.
My favourite story is that a Cruise missile hit the pentagon on 9/11
I had flown into Washington National that morning and was picked up by our sales guys for a meeting in Herndon with Time Warner Cable. We are sitting on the GW at the 14th Street Bridge and Rob is pointing at a plane and shouting that its going to crash. We watch it the whole way down until it hits the Pentagon.

The other guy from the UK that was really innovative was Ray Spence, and a really good rider in his own right. He helped with a lot of the frame design and testing for EMC and most of the big factory's used all the principles and design right up until alloy frames were introduced. EMC failed because of the crappy engine and the frames ended up hosting everything from Bultaco to Yamaha to CCM motors

Its hard for someone that is really innovative to get a break today. Computer design seems to be a process of evolution, not revolution.
Doesn't this really mean in today's instant and connected world to just google (or any other type of digital search/feed)? But you are googling through the mud ..... you are just consuming and leaning towards somebody else's opinion which can be reflecting truth or rather not.

It's simply a physical impossibility. The damages were not consistent with that happening. The experts (aeronautical engineers, physicists, architects and structural engineers) all agree.
The debunking beyond denial of the official stories at both the Pentagon and the third tower that fell that day (World Trade 7 - you know, the one that was never hit by a plane, but fell anyway) cast very grave suspicions on the official story of the two main towers, without even 'going there' yet.
And this is significant and important.
Pentagon employees interviewed on the lawn of the burning structure reported that the distinctive smell of jet fuel (which I believe is basically like kerosene) was completely absent - however the strong smell of cordite hung heavily in the air.

I'm originally from Belfast (obviously) and knew Ray really well when I lived there. He made around 20 EMC framed 500 4 Stroke Yamaha engined bikes with the help of Yamaha Motor Corp. I ended up riding one when I started Motocross. That frame was amazing but unfortunately the Yamaha engine was a bit of a pig.
I was back there 2 years ago and his shop is gone, replaced by a bunch of Town Houses. Ray was a gentleman. I didn't know he had died though. RIP.
Yes. Laurence was his son. I actually went to school with him and did race in the same MX class before he went to the FIM, although I was crap and it was usual to be lapped by him at least once.
He raced for the Factory Kawasaki team. I can still remember that race at Farleigh Castle in 1983 where the gearbox seized on the last corner and he had to push it up the hill with the wheel locked for 7th (???) place. Most riders today would just throw the bike down and walk away.

To answer inreb, anything with a big name and logo is part of the problem, you need to find independent sources and small alternative media sites.
If i want to really know whats going on in syria, i find blogs, syrian peoples personal youtube channels and the odd articles that get buried deep, because the truth is hard to find, but it will set you free.
And then i'd have to tell you about symbolism in logos, which would lead to a whole new thread.
Bottom line for everyone, humble yourself, forget what you were taught and re-evaluate everything for yourself.

I TOTALLY agree with this - you have to read both sides (independent AND major news media) to truly get a sense for any real story. The only way to get any perspective is to read as much as you can about a story (provided you care that much), and form your own opinion based on making sense of what you've read. If there are too many inconsistencies, then you know something's suspect.
I am undecided on whether or not things are "better" than they were before; major new outlets are by FAR more sensational and motivated for ratings than they have ever been BUT, on the other hand we have never had as easy access to independent points of view before as we have today. Before the "internet age" whatever you saw on TV was the only perspective anyone ever saw.
