Under international law, the United States is a criminal nation supporting an illegal takeover of the Assad regime...

That is absolutely correct!

Just because we might not like something in the west doesnt mean we have the legal right to do whatevre thehell we want to other countries. But i dont think those countries are very concerned with niternational law. Look at Israel. It was broken more international laws and treaties than ANY OTHER COUNTRY in the history of the UN.

But did anyone in the west take any action to address it? Of course not.

international law is only applicable and must be protected when it benefits them.

Headline: "Russia Accuses Turkey of Being ‘Secret Allies’ with ISIS"

In remarks that were almost entirely ignored by the western media, the Russians appear to be right about this! ISIS militants use Turkey as a home base, and it has been documented that Turkey has been “training ISIS militants, funneling weapons to them, buying their oil, and tending to their wounded in Turkish hospitals”.

So why would Turkey want to be allies with ISIS?
Well first of all, the Turkish government hates the Assad regime in Syria and would love to see it eliminated.
Secondly, ISIS has been selling hundreds of millions of dollars worth of stolen oil in Turkey, and it has been alleged that the Turkish president’s own family is involved.

You can’t sell 100 million dollars of stolen oil a month without the U.S. government knowing about it.
Doesn't that mean that Barack Obama has been fully aware of what has been going on, and he hasn’t told the American people the truth?
And it is important to keep in mind that if war does break out, Turkey is a member of NATO, and so we would be obligated by treaty to help defend the 'Bad Guys'!

So let’s try to keep a close eye on what is happening in the Middle East, because it could end up having tremendous implications for all of us.
Although it's pretty disgusting to see no mention of ANYTHING in for example the CBC or the venerable Globe and Mail.
They babble on about Justin Bieber, sports, and Star Wars, heheh. And under "World News" there's nothing but Paris climate coverage...

This is 100% true. Ill add this. Erdogan has been trying to change Turkey from a democratic and secular country with a Muslim majority to a (Sunni) Muslim state.

Turkey was always praised for its democratic ways in the region but he is trying to bring Islamic law back. He even restricted the drinking laws a few years ago to curb drinking.

Amen... Up until Erdogan came to power, I've been praising Turkey as a shiny example of a Muslim majority country being modern, secular and civilized. Nowadays, I'd rather travel to Afghanistan.

and on the topic of religious maniac Erdogan and his dictatorship....

Update:

"Renowned American Military Expert Explains How Turkey Ambushed Russia's Su-24"
Pierre Sprey, one of the brainchilds behind two of America's most successful fighter aircraft, the F-16 and A-10, explains in detail how the Turks set up an ambush for Russia's Su-24.

A good read...

Grifted from here for some reason. It is an interesting read, though, and it does answer the question in the back of my mind about why the F-16s weren't noticed by Russian ground radar.
