Toronto Raptors '15/'16 season

Raptors breaking records.....

Maybe something happens at customs where offense is left behind?

maybe it's flying on the plane...altitude changes their attitude

Hey, did you guys do your laundry yet?

got any white towels to spare

It was actually painful to watch the second half. Let's hope they force a game 7 and keep their hopes alive.

It's like watching the Leafs; you never know which team is going to show up.

I stopped watching at the half.

I don't get it. Why does this team come out so flat like this? It's been the theme of the playoffs with them.

Maybe they get distracted by Casino's?

"On the morning of the latest, biggest game in Raptors history — just before 2 in the morning to be precise — two prominent Toronto players were spotted walking through a downtown Cleveland casino with a large group, clearly not in game-preparation mode."

We still have a better chance then what we did a few days ago down 2. No one can predict

That was a disgusting game ... the worst of any sorts.

Who cares that they could win the 6th game at home?? ... although, Cleveland made the two games in TO somewhat close, in comparison to the Raptors road games, obviously ... when they will choke in game 7 in Cleveland again (I don't think they lost by less than 20 points all season long .... rare, no?). They have no chance in hell to win that one ... if you think so, this is well beyond glass half full territory. This is a jug full of false hope, really ....

I thought, the GSW the other day were the worst late round play-off performance I have seen, when talking about disappointment. Steph and his lazy plays and gazilion turnovers ... this one was very similar to that, mainly from Kyle Lowry's standpoint.

I am bookmarking this post and will bring it up again Sunday night. :)

Raptors still have more Wins than GSW this conference finals. So there's that.

Again, anything can happen, and as 'bad' as they played, they're still a professional basketball team. You never know.

I still think we're 1 maybe 2 pieces away from being a consistent serious contender. We have All Stars, but since Vince left, we haven't had a Superstar caliber player. Look at the remaining teams, they all have Superstars (Curry/Klay, Durant/Westbrook, LeBron/Irving).

I missed the game, but seems like it was a letdown. Kyle was that bad? What about Derozan and JV? Did any of the Raps play well? They were a really good road team this year - not sure what gives. But as was already said - this season has been a massive improvement and hopefully they continue to improve. We also got the 9th and 27th picks in 1st round and isn't next year Bruno's final year of being 2 years away from being 2 years away?

Everyone played like ****.... everyone. JV actually did pretty good for coming back from injury but he played limited min.

The officiating was pretty good for once, even fair calls for both sides.

Yeah this sums it up.

The effort that they showed in games 3,4 just weren't the same in game 5. Like they were 'tired' with short bursts of hustle. Then the Cavs just started an avalanche of points, taking it to the raptors in the paint.

I noticed a lot of missed/fumbled passes by the raptors, things that should have been routine by now, looked like it required more concentration, like they were rattled. Regardless, no way Love and Irving were gonna go 3/22 like they did in game 4, it was a matter of time before they regressed to their mean.

Still proud of the Raps for making it this far and not making it a cakewalk for the Cavs (everyone thought they'd sweep). So long as they continue to build on what they have now, I expect them to continue making it deep in the playoffs. So long as you make it into the top 4, there's always a chance. (See 04 pistons)

I was hoping you would. If they do make it to game 7, it would be a great entertainment to see Cavaliers choke .... I cannot believe I just said that. But what the heck.

Professional sports are always fun and joke at the end of the day. Hence I never take it very seriously, even though the Sportsnet really wants me to believe that there's a war unleashing tonight near a Jurassic park. Can't wait ....

Still can't grasp in my head how the Raps can look so convincing during the home games, and give hope to the fans that they can win the series. Then they get proceeded to trail by 31 at halftime the next game, and never recover from there. After that game, I lost all hope. I'll be happy with the two wins. lol

I hope i'm proved wrong.

You guys didn't really think the raptors could win the series, did you???

Lucky couple wins & that's it!
Keep throwing sht to a wall & some has got to stick

They should have left Biz in there, he is on fire and playing hard.
If you notice, the Raptors do well when they start the game with a fast pace.
They tend to start off with a fast pace get a nice lead then slow down and surpassed.

Luck? was it also lucky to win the series against them in regular season?

Yes I still think they can win, it all depends on which raptors team shows up
