Const. James Forcillo shot Sammy Yatim - the trial

does anyone know any cases where a non LEO was able to stay on partial house arrest after being charged with attempted murder??? how does that even make sense??

clearly demonstrates mental health concerns with the ppl running the show imo

There are many...
There is at least two going on right now.
Homeowner shot guy that was stealing his truck near hamilton...
and the sask farmer that shot the young guy that came onto his property with a car load of friends.

Its happened more than you'd think, we had an incident here in Milton 40yrs ago, wealthy landowner had private trout pond, teenager had been warned about poaching, landowner fired a warning rifle shot over the kids head (hit him right between the shoulder blades while running away, kid died) . Landowner spend 1 evening in jail, eventual conviction was criminal negligence after all charges reduced.

Hear hear....and Cosby is in for the rest of his life too. Wonder what his money will buy him inside?

I haven't been following the Cosby one in any detail. Has he exhausted appeals?

You know, out on bail pending appeal. Keep delaying the appeal if you have no chance of winning.

" His bail was revoked after he was charged with perjury and attempting to obstruct justice in connection to allegedly breaching his bail conditions."

So the filthy pig broke more laws after committing murder.
6 years, he got off easy. Will be out in 3 after doing time in a low
security facility. "country club prison" (cops in the rare event of sentencing dont do time like the rest of us in gen. pop, where it might be dangerous for them)

If a civilian committed murder with that many witnesses and no police union to protect us, please believe we would be doing consecutive life sentences.

Supreme Court dismissed his appeal.

9 shots, 10 seconds, 6 years. He deserves more but at least this was denied.

His expression leaving the courthouse was at the best 'smug' . How he made it through the interviews to become an officer leaves more than a few questions.

Read the new articles about the cop that was gunned down by another officer last week in Pelham. It is astounding that the officer that was shot was still out working after four successful disciplinary proceedings against him. Sadly, again the system works to protect those inside instead of putting public interests first.

Wherever he does his time, inmates will make those 6 yrs seem like 600, once they find out who he is........... *allegedly*.
That might explain the look on him.

Is allegedly still required? He was convicted in court and has exhausted his appeals, isn't it safe to remove allegedly at this point?

I have little sympathy for him. He has extended his jail time by violating court orders and lying about it. Obviously, even a conviction for attempted murder isn't enough for it to sink in that he isn't above the law.

I was thinking about this the other day. Did they take him into custody immediately or is he still out???

I believe hes back in jail for breaching his bail conditions.
