Any interesting POI between Toronto & NYC

I will be travelling between Toronto to NYC. I am asking to see if anyone has any good suggestion for any interesting Points of Interests (POI) along the way. The attach map is the planned route, I don't mind taking a small deviation to see something interesting along the way. Any suggestion anyone?

Shift your route to go along the bottom of the finger lakes. It'll be more entertaining. You're not missing much by avoiding Syracuse and Scranton believe me.

Watkin Glen is there as well and a Glen Curtiss Museum of some sort

JC - how far is Corning for you? Might be a nice lunch meetup.

Take 17 (I86) instead of I90. Same time but less soul crushing.

Sleepy Hollow (Tarrytown) is about 20 miles north of NYC. It might be a fun visit.

I'm just following up on the post, I like the suggestion of Watkins Glen State Park and I86, seems like there may be a bit more things to stop over and see along I86, like the Corning Glass Museum.

Matthew, what's in Sleepy Hollow (Tarrytown) that I should look out for that's interesting to see?

Not a heck of a lot except an old church and an old cemetery. People buried in the cemetery are believed to be the inspiration for characters in the short story and the church is the old dutch church in the story.

Curious, what are you doing with the bike after you get to nyc?
Last time I've been, it was cheaper to take the greyhound to conneticut every day and get a hotel there then it was to stay in the city.
