Advice on buying a bike with no M licence.

This is the sort of thing the husband and wife should discuss before the bike is purchased.
A friend was thinking of something similar with his wife.
He was all set to buy her a motorcycle when she told him about the one previous time she had been on one.
Seems no one told her that you LEAN into turns. She freaked on the passenger seat.

There is no requirement for the registered owner of a car, motorcycle or even an 18 wheeler to have any drivers licence at all.
You only need the licence to drive it.
