FWIW gearingcommander stops at "max power", not at the redline. That '11 ZX10R redlines over 160 km/h.

You don't need to shift. It's been that way on big bikes a long time.

Depends on the bike and how it's geared. Plain and simple.
My RC8r won't do near the same top speed in first as a ZX10 or R1 etc...

Between the 1198 and R1, different speeds in 1st for sure. Both fun in their own way

wouldnt worry about it, plenty of people riding 1000cc bikes cant even handle 600cc properly.

Even my 649cc CBR650F (non SS) can do 90km/h in first. Clearly you do need a H2R though...anything else is too slow/unsafe out there, especially for a new rider!!
