Prior to the collision, police say officers in three separate cruisers were helping transport a patient suffering from mental health issues to a local hospital when they pulled up beside the motorcyclist at the intersection of Salem Road and Bayly Street.Police say the motorcyclist nodded at the officers before swerving in between them and speeding off.
Officers were unable to pursue the speeding motorcyclist because they were committed to transporting the patient.
