ELGIN, Ont. - Two men and a woman are dead after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Elgin County in southern Ontario.
Provincial police say the crash occurred last night just after 10 o'clock in Central Elgin (on Wellington Rd. at Ferguson Line).
They say the pickup entered the road into the path of two motorcycles that were travelling one behind the other.
Investigators say one of the bikes was able to swerve and avoid the pickup, but the other slammed into the driver's side of the truck.
The male driver of the pickup, the male operator of the motorcycle and his female passenger were all pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Fifty-five-year-old Robert Frederick, 25-year-old Kyle Melo and 23-year-old Kayla DeMelo were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say Frederick was driving the pickup and is from St. Thomas, while the other two were on the motorcycle and are from London.
