When I downshift to 2nd and 1st gear it jerks and it has hard time getting into gear (kind of makes a clunky noise) Has anyone experienced this before ? Can this be a transmission problem? If there are any experienced riders who can maybe take my bike for a spin to see whats up, please message me. I feel like I am not explaining the problem clearly. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

2006 GSXR Transmission problem ?

Bent shift fork, worn gear, worn shift drum. Could be a number of issues. What's the mileage on the bike and where are you located?
Take it to a reputable mechanic. If it's one of the things I listed the extent of damage won't be known until it's opened up. Might be something minor and it won't need to be opened up but it's going to be hard to diagnose over the net.
