The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

I don't think that I'd have let that entitled ******* in either. Perhaps the truck driver was leaning on the horn because he was trying to get him to pull over after the impact?

Sometimes I actually DO wish that lines were a regulatory device.

Completely entitled little **** head - here's him defending himself (His account is now suspended ) https://www.reddit.com/r/ontario/comments/5h2dly/is_it_legal_to_pass_a_solid_line_on_the_highway/

"Look at this guys post history, It screams ********* and social cheat. Asking how to write off a car lease on personal taxes, how to avoid paying for parking tickets and possibly using a handicap placard for free parking. He clearly doesn't see the world around us as a shared experience its all setup for his personal gain."

Horns aren't really great communication devices, unfortunately. These days they only seem to mean one thing, "I'm angry at you, idiot. You better watch out!"

My dad has his check engine light come on one day. Turns out he forgot to install the gas cap. He said it was probably because the next guy in line at the pumps was honking at him furiously to hurry up. Uh, no dad. It was to point out that you forgot the gas cap.

skip to 00:25

nothing too crazy, but went through a red and couldn't wait a full 6s for the green.

And that's how you die. What idiot would jump a red->green light with the amount of people sliding through intersections going from green to red in snow?

Great dodge.

Obviously he would have looked for cross traffic before proceeding. That makes him a far better driver than many others at that corner who likely would have been strictly focused on the light and oblivious to the possibility of cross traffic, because it means he understands our number one priority as drivers is to avoid causing a collision, it's not to obey the law. Looks like he could have gone safely from the moment the video started.

Gotta love dash cam hero boy who figures he's gonna enforce the rules of the road by flashing his high beams when the guy starts across, but just the rules he likes because clearly he's on his cell phone.

The driver can't tell when the collision occurred? From the video, I've got a pretty good idea.

Agreed. 404S to 401 ramps in the morning (or really anytime nowadays) - stopping in lane three (live lane intended for DVP bound traffic) seems to be quite acceptable to many people.

People have issues waiting their turn. Even just to hop another 5-6 cars sometimes ,not realizing the traffic their one action creates.

I think that rather than "realizing", the operative word there is "caring."
