I recently got the itch to be back on two wheels after spending a decade in Asia on 100 & 125cc scooters.
I read a bunch of material (largely on here), wrote the M1, took the Learning Curves M1X(M2) course in Hamilton, and have put about 1500km on my red Honda CBR300 in the last month.
After a short period of getting some clutch control in, it really has been a breeze. I've done the Ridge Rd and Forks of the Credit rides from a website linked off this forum. Thanks for that and all the noob tips involving selecting a bike, gear, and the licensing and insurance procedures.
I'm located in Brantford, have met up with a couple friends with bikes for some short rides and am interested in longer/larger group rides in the Brantford/Kitchener/Guelph/Hamilton area. This week I also drove to Toronto four times for Jays games and they went 4-0. What a week!
In a couple summers I see myself selling this one and moving up to a 500+, but there's no rush. Have a safe summer everyone.
